Licensing
Basic or Total Security Suite?
WatchGuard bundles the Firebox services into two subscription levels. The right choice depends on how much you rely on the firewall to do the detecting, and how much visibility you want.
Basic Security Suite
The core protections most sites need: firewalling, intrusion prevention, web and content filtering, antivirus scanning and standard reporting. A sound baseline for a straightforward single-site network.
Total Security Suite
Everything in Basic plus the advanced services: broader threat detection and correlation, richer visibility and reporting, and the extras that make managed monitoring far more useful. The usual choice where downtime or data loss would really hurt.
